This skill influences the chance to climb out of pits. 100 Climbing is required to access the Rift.
This skill is used to climb out of pits and holes.
Climbing needs to be at 100 to access the Rift.

Granted at the start to all PCs.
- Walking in wilderness mountain areas (has two potential problems: in-game time consumption (90 day limit), and accidents with cursed climbing sets which cause some inventory destruction and 50-250 damage to PC).
- Falling and climbing out of pits, although this should be exercised with extreme caution as the PC takes some damage for falling into a pit (small-scale test suggests roughly 4d5 unmitigated damage). First Aid and Healing can also be trained this way at the same time.
- Paying money to Yergius for climbing training (thieves' guild members only).
