Crown of
Leadership
( [ )
Item635
Item Type Helmet
Artifact? Yes
Weight 65s
Danger Level 10
Material Iron

The crown of leadership is a random artifact, and one of the only artifact helmets in the game. It provides a massive increase to Charisma, as well as a number of other bonuses.

In its unidentified form, the crown of leadership is a silver crown.

DesirabilityEdit

In terms of defence, the crown is perhaps the best helmet in the game behind the Iron Crown of Havlor (excepting the Crown of Chaos or crown of science, which are rarely worn due to severe disadvantages). Its ability to grant confusion resistance makes it a much more effective helm of mental stability; though without the learning boost. It is also a source of the useful intrinsic see invisible. The Charisma boost, however, is considerably less useful to many PCs; though pet-reliant classes like Bards can make fantastic use of this.

Unfortunately for mist elves it is made of iron.

Guaranteed/Common SourcesEdit

Like other random artifacts, the crown of leadership can be generated in greater vaults or surges of power; or as a random drop, albeit very rarely. It is also a crowning gift possibility for merchants.
