Ring mail is the lightest and least protective of metal armors. Typical stats can be found in the table at the bottom of this page.


Desirability[]

Somewhat lower DL than more protective armor of the same material, so it can come in handy early. Truesilver ring mail is notable for being light enough that monks can wear it without penalties. The main feature of this type of armor is very light penalties to DV and to-hit.
