Crowns of ice are a rare type of headgear in ADOM. They have typical stats of [+1, +2], although variations from these numbers are common. They provide immunity to cold while worn.
Crowns of ice appear as blue crowns when unidentified.
Desirability[]
Crowns of ice are of limited use as a handful of monsters can threaten the PC with cold-based attacks. Common resistance to cold is typically enough to ensure safety. Moreover, cold immunity can be easily acquired thanks to the ancient mummy wrapping — a guaranteed artifact which can be retrieved early in the game.
