Loaves of elven bread are one of the basic types of food in ADOM. When eaten, they grant a certain amount of satiation that depends on their B/U/C status. See the Satiation Value table below for details.
Desirability[]
Food of some type is required in ADOM to ward off starvation and death. Elven bread is extremely useful due to its low weight and high satiation. Preferably, it should be eaten once everything else is gone, since it weighs so little. The only food more efficient are blessed stomafillia herbs.
Guaranteed/Common sources[]
They can be obtained in the same manner as all generic loot. Unfortunately, it is rather rare. Gray elves always start out with a loaf, whilst hurthlings of most classes have a small chance to start out with a loaf as well.
