Stone Dragon Caves 5 Southeast of the Caverns of Chaos Available after receiving the quest to kill Katharamandus. 20,23,26,29,32 All levels are cavernous, filled with earth monsters, and subject to earthquakes.
Volcano 16 While volcanoes are active, they will appear through the Drakalor Chain. The stone heart needs to be corrupted in order to make volcanoes active. 31,32,32,33,33, 34,34,35,35,36,36, 37,37,38,38,39 Levels feature magma.
Ultimate Dungeon 11 Accessed through any dormant volcano Close the Chaos Gate, complete the Volcano quest, retrieve the Weird fire starter 49 Home of the Supreme balor, location of the Scroll of omnipotence

The Mad Minstrel's Clearing North of the Caverns of Chaos N/A 1 Home of the Mad Minstrel
The Bug Temple West of the Mad Minstrel's Clearing Must have 100 deaths recorded for the current ADOM installation 20,40 EXTREMELY dangerous to players with non-godly DV, especially those without spells
The Tower of Eternal Flames North-east of the Gremlin Cave, South-west of the Caverns of Chaos N/A 24,25,26,27 One of the most dangerous mid-game locations due to constant fire damage - fire immunity helps the PC, protecting the items is less simple
The Minotaur Maze North-west section of the map. South-west corner of that section. Accessible at experience levels 22-30 inclusive. 16,26-31,35 This maze is one of the most confusing places in the game, many players are happy to skip it, without teleportation and magic mapping a sure path to insanity
The Ancient Stone Circle North-west section of the map. Eastern side of that section. The player must have received the secret of how to enter from the Demented Ratling. And have exact timing. 40 The stone circle is the only location in the game that is visible to all players yet can only be entered by some (and even then only sometimes).
The Sinister Library of Niltrias Only accessible through the Rift See the Rift article for details 30 Many spellbooks are found here, along with the Ghost Librarian, who may give players the weird tome under the right circumstances
Beautiful Park West of the Barbarian's Clearing PC must have received the Unicorn Quest 30 Home of Yrruir
Corrupted Glade East of the Beautiful Park PC must have received the Kill Riurry quest 40 Home of Riurry
The Ice Queen Domain West of the Tower of Eternal Flames. PC must have reached experience level 15.

Eerie Glade Northwest of the Mad Minstrel's Clearing. Revealed by the grizzled dwarven veteran. 10 Contains several dwarven graves, including a special one containing the Ancient dwarven key.
Rolf's Fortress East of the Terinyo Available after reading the Antediluvian dwarven map. 20,22,25,30 The home of Rolf.
Merchant Guild Northeast of the High Mountain Village Revealed by searching with Lucky or Fate smiles 20 Home of the Great gray wyrm and hordes of Eternium golems. Contains four random artifacts.
Goblin Camp Any wilderness forest square Accessible through a special level 1-2 wilderness encounter 3 Contains various goblins, treasure, and rocks.
Antediluvian Jungle Any wilderness forest square Accessible through a wilderness encounter 1 Populated by dinosaurs and antediluvian orcs and trolls. Not possible to leave or revisit immediately.
