Perion's mithril plate mail is an artifact body armor in ADOM.
When worn, Perion's mithril plate mail gives resistance to fire and acid, and immunity to diseasev.2.3.2+. It also grants a +9 bonus to Charismav.2.3.2+.
In its unidentified form, it appears as plate mail; though its weight of 450s distinguishes it from both regular iron (500s) and mithril (400s) plate mails.
Desirability
Starting with version 2.3.2
Perion's mithril plate mail is quite impressive as body armor, boasting a 19 PV score without a significant negative impact on the PC's DV and accuracy (compared to full plate armors). These stats make Perion's mithril plate mail a respectable choice for endgame characters despite otherwise lackluster conferred intrinsics and bonuses.
The Charisma bonus can be of great use for PCs employing companions or shopping for expensive items (only for male PCs).
Prior to version 2.3.2
Perion's mithril plate mail is a good early-to-mid game artifact, but becomes fairly lackluster by the endgame due to other items becoming available and more common. Stat-wise it is virtually indistinguishable from eternium plate mails and grants intrinsics that are very easy to obtain. While it's indestructible, it cannot be smithed up and cannot be generated with powerful affixes.

It is a possible crowning gift for Paladins and Weaponsmiths.
As of v. 1.2.0 it can also be granted as a precrowning gift or a reward for making use of a potion of uselessness; generated in a surge of power or greater vault; or generated as random loot (albeit very rarely).
