Potions of training are Potions that, when drunk, train the player in one of his non-maximized skills by possibly increasing the advancement dice value for that skill. Like with a lot of other potions, cursed potions have the opposite effect — drinking one will decrease the advancement dice value for a random skill.
Desirability[]
It's near impossible to control which skill is going to be trained. If it's Alertness or Dodge, which are often stuck at less than maximum level, this is a very nice effect. If it provides training to your Haggling skill, well...
The only way to control which skills will be trained is by maxing all the others - rarely practical until very late in the game.

They can be obtained in the same manner as all generic loot. Neutral PCs might receive two from the dwarven mystic.
