Rings of speed are rings that grant a fixed bonus of +5 to the PC's speed a varying bonus to PV with a default value of +1 while equipped.
PV modifier for rings of speed varies from as low as -4 to as high as +6.
Desirability[]
Rings of speed are quite powerful in the early game boosting the PC defensive capabilities and allowing him/her to attack (and retreat) faster. A +5 bonus to speed can counteract burden penalties or give a strategic advantage in a dangerous situation. In the mid-to-late game rings of speed are likely to be replaced with more powerful items.
