Scrolls of repair are scrolls that, when read, repair a broken item or a stack of broken items. A blessed scroll also moves the stacks' B/U/C status up by one (from Cursed to Uncursed, Uncursed to Blessed). Cursed scrolls can actually break a stack of items; items that could not normally be broken, such as herbs or potions, could been broken in this way in ADOM versions prior to 1.2.0.
Desirability
They are quite useful, though in everyday adventuring you might end up only repairing broken pickaxes, keys or wands from time to time. Breaking a stack of items with a cursed scroll (provided that it is possible to do so) and repairing the stack with a blessed scroll can notably bless a lot more items at once that a potion of holy water could.
