i actually did few repeated tests: A) i looked at dead messages there were no messages of resisting [iirc amulet gives message vs banshee] B) i played with DV and PV a bit. It might be the case amulet actually shortens paralyzation time rather significantly, i just can't think how to test it fast and reliably.Soirana 13:51, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
Several years ago, Thomas Biskup posted that these amulets don't protect you against special attacks by undead. If I remember correctly (and I should probably do a search on google groups), he said that they provide a very small PV boost. which version of game it was?
There was mention in the threads recently that it is rumored that it reduces the chances of stat drain in melee. Has anyone looked into this.? (July 24,2014)
