Tower shields are one of the basic types of shields in ADOM. They offer the best defensive capabilities of all basic shields, whilst causing slight penalties to accuracy.
Desirability[]
Tower shields offer better DV bonuses than other types of basic shields. Tower crystal shields stats are on par with eternium, except for being far heavier but having a considerably lower DL (meaning that they can be found significantly earlier and boost the PC's chances of survival).
